Workspace support Marketing Agency, CreativeRace on their move to Joseph’s Well.

The Office Move, New Furniture requirements & Reuse Services were all provided by Workspace as they supported CreativeRace, who took over an iconic ground-floor space that once hosted the music venue, The Well.

Joseph’s Well, managed by J Pullan & Sons—one of Workspace’s clients—introduced us to their new tenant, who had a variety of requirements to facilitate their move from their existing offices to the new iconic space at The Well.

Firstly, CreativeRace had furniture they wanted to retain and move to their new offices. This included around 20 workstations, chairs, meeting furniture, electrical items, and staff storage. We itemized and labelled these items for our team to dismantle, move to The Well, and reassemble, ensuring everything was ready to be set up.

Secondly, CreativeRace required various new pieces of furniture, including additional office desks and chairs to match their existing kit. We also provided a range of meeting and boardroom chair samples, in line with their industrial style. This resulted in the delivery and installation of 40 new chairs and stools for various breakout and meeting spaces.

A set of breakout bench seating required some extra TLC, so we recovered them, replacing the foam to upgrade and improve the overall look and feel of the seats, giving them a new lease of life!

Lastly, CreativeRace had various items of furniture they no longer needed. With a good lead time in front of us, most of this furniture was sold by Workspace through our extensive customer network before the move. This was a win-win for all involved, as our team was able to reuse nearly 40 desks and a range of soft seating and breakout furniture. We dismantled, and redelivered this furniture to it’s new home in Huddersfield.

Pullan’s were re-fitting the new office space with a bespoke design, incorporating its historical features, repurposing the original dancefloor, and adapting the space for modern workspace requirements. We worked closely with both Pullan’s and CreativeRace to coordinate the move-in dates. As with most fit-outs, schedules can shift, but we remained flexible with the delivery and installation of furniture, ensuring CreativeRace could be fully operational and settled in on time.
